Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it currently before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The text - including citations and bibligraphic material - adhere to a formally recognised academic style (for the referee process).
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements of The Chicago Manual of Style, 16th edition (for final publication only).
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
  • If an automated referencing system has been used, the reference library has been uploaded as a supplementary file.

Author Guidelines

For pubiication, all articles and reviews submitted to Relegere must follow The Chicago Manual of Style, 16th edition and we will be adding more details about formatting requirements in the near future; however, we are very happy to consider articles using other recognised citation styles for the referee process.

We currently welcome material in English, French, and German.

Abstracts should be limited to 100 words.
